The rate at which hydraulic fluid moves through a machine's system, typically measured in liters per minute or gallons per minute.
Definition
Hydraulic flow, together with system pressure, determines how quickly and powerfully a machine's functions and attachments can operate. Attachments are generally rated for a required flow range, and running an attachment outside that range can reduce performance or cause damage.
