A mounting device that allows attachments to be connected and disconnected quickly, without manually inserting or removing pivot pins.
Definition
Quick couplers may be manual, using a pin-and-latch mechanism operated from outside the machine, or hydraulic, allowing the operator to swap attachments from inside the cab. They speed up attachment changes but add a small amount of extra distance between the arm and the attachment.
