Working Height

The maximum vertical reach of an aerial platform or crane, usually measured from the ground to the highest reachable point.

Definition

Working height is typically about 6 feet (roughly 2 meters) greater than a platform's maximum floor height, accounting for the reach of a standing operator, and is the figure most relevant to whether a machine can reach a given task height.
