The most common telehandler attachment is the pallet fork carriage. Other frequent options include general-purpose and light-material buckets, work platforms (man-baskets) for personnel lifting (subject to local regulations), crane jibs for suspended loads, and specialist tools such as bale handlers, sweepers or concrete skips. Each attachment changes the load centre and therefore the rated capacity. Always use the load chart that matches the attachment in use. Quick-coupler systems allow relatively fast changes, but the operator must verify positive lock engagement before lifting.
Always consult the specific manufacturer operator manual and load charts for the model in use. Local regulations regarding personnel lifting, operator training and machine inspection must also be followed. Proper selection, correct use of the load chart, and disciplined daily checks form the foundation of safe and productive telehandler operation.
